Ministry Centre

A key resource at the centre of our community, helping people to connect, build friendships, share hospitality and explore questions about faith.

Church Groups

The Ministry Centre, located next door to the church building, is used by various church groups as a meeting place on Sundays and throughout the week to deepen relationships with Jesus and each other.

To learn more about these groups, visit our Connect & Grow pages.

Café Vista

Upstairs in the Ministry Centre, is Café Vista, overlooking the beautiful farmland of the West Lancashire plain. On a clear day, you can even see Blackpool Tower! The café can be accessed by lift or stairs. Staffed by volunteers, all are welcome Tuesday to Friday, from 10.30 to 3.30 pm for lunch and light refreshments, and on Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast between 10 am and noon.

It is recommended to book a table ahead of your visit. Please call the church office:  01695 424530.

Easter Dates: Café Vista will be closed the week commencing Monday 25th March, re-opening Monday 8th April.

Community Hub

The Centre is also a community hub for local organisations and support groups, such as Move it or Lose it and Home Instead – Community Social Group.

How to find us

We’re located in Aughton, in the south part of the ancient market town of Ormskirk. You’ll find us at the top of the hill on the A59, halfway between Liverpool and Preston.

A large car park is located between the Ministry Centre and our church. Public transportation is very convenient, with a 310 bus stop on the A59 and Aughton Park railway station close by on Long Lane.
